Hello, Beauties! I hope you are having fun this summer season, enjoying a bit of a breather, time with friends and family, and getting outside.
Though not a sun-worshipper myself (friends would not recognize me without my NYC pale glow), I just spent a few days on the beach with my family and have what is for me a “savage tan”. The reality is that I’m a deeper shade of yellow, but I’m flaunting it anyway.
What comes with a beach tan? DREADED TAN LINES. My other bridal clients and models are subjected to my helpful suggestions about tan lines. Know what gets me most? Brides and bridesmaids with tan lines poking out above strapless dresses. I do what I can to fill in the marks with foundation and bronzer, but it’s best to arrive for the day of the wedding with smooth skin.
Now that it’s late August, people might have entrenched tan lines – no worries, Sephorato the rescue!

If you tan and have lines, great! If you don’t tan or stay out of the sun, also great! At $9, it’s a wonderful bridesmaid gift:). PLEASE test it out at home before you use it at a critical moment like a wedding or special event, just in case you are not a makeup expert. Also, bronzer can be messy, so apply in the bathroom and wash your hands with soap and water after application, drying with a paper towel.
Of course, it’s best to stay under the beach umbrella from 10a-2p, and to exercise caution everyday. Enjoy the rest of the warm weather!
With salty beachy kisses-
SB
