We’ve been at this for almost two decades, so sticking to a planner-approved timeline is second nature to us. We make sure everyone feels like a star in our chair and is ready on time.
Myth 4: Getting ready is stressful.
To make the preview process as seamless as possible, please bring:
How can I prep for my bridal preview?
We suggest getting your eyebrows tweezed, waxed, or threaded no closer than four days prior to your wedding. For facials, we recommend getting a light “glow and go” facial with no extractions about a week in advance of the event.
Our makeup artists can color-match your foundation to your skin tone, so you don’t need to worry about a spray tan matching your face.
Do you have timing recommendations for facials, waxing, and spray tanning?
Once we have the necessary details — including the number of attendees, and photo and ceremony schedule — we create the timeline for you. Working closely with your wedding planner, we assemble a detailed and flexible agenda that accounts for last-minute changes, guest lateness, interruptions, and unforeseen speed bumps.
I’d like to know more about my bridal beauty timeline. How does it work?
Before we book your preview date with SB Beauty artists, we confirm they are also available for your wedding day or weekend.
Will I have the same artist on my wedding day as I do for my preview?
No, you are not required to schedule a preview session. We do advise clients to book a preview with one of our beauty artists so they can perfect your wedding day look. SB Beauty offers complimentary phone consultations to discuss your vision and schedule your preview.
Do I have to schedule a bridal preview for my hair or makeup?
You can book us a year or more in advance with a signed agreement and a 50% deposit. We can then schedule your beauty preview 2-4 months before the event. Previews take place at our studio on evenings and select Saturdays. We will always work to accommodate your schedule, and we understand that you may be traveling into the city for event appointments.
How far ahead can I book your services? Can I book a pre-wedding makeup/hair preview?
